Display and visibility

None of this changes the model — only what you see in the 3D view. The specification and the PDF always contain every panel.

On the right rail, below the tools:

Toggle What it does
Transparent panels all panels are see-through — you see the inside, holes and joints
Show only fronts you see only doors and drawer fronts, e.g. to check the gaps between fronts
Dimensions dimension lines of the object’s outer size
Show coordinate axes the X, Y, Z axes from the object’s anchor
Show outline the dashed box of the object
Show outer outline (envelope) the box including the object’s clearance — the space the object takes up in the room
Show background grid a grid under the object

You can hide a panel to see what is behind it:

  • in the panel list, the eye icon in the panel’s row (Hide / Show);
  • in the panel form, Hide panel in view;
  • for several panels: Select multiple panels → Hide selected / Show selected;
  • Hide all / Show all for a whole part of the list.

A hidden panel still exists: it stays in the list, the specification and the cut list.

When you select a door or a drawer, a small rail appears left of the 3D view:

  • Preview open doors — the doors open at a random angle of 45–90°, so you can see how they swing and whether they hit anything. Hide open-door preview closes them.
  • Open this drawer / Close this drawer — the drawer slides out on its runner.

You set the door’s opening angle and direction in the panel form, under Door.

Small holes are shown as flat discs. Precise holes (real cut) on the Drill & cutouts rail really cuts them all — see Holes.

Moving around, views and Viewer settings (S) are described in 3D navigation.
