Built-in assistant

You can also edit in Maysstor by chatting. The built-in AI assistant works right inside the app: you write what you want, and it does it on the object while you watch.

The assistant uses AI credits (or your own provider key) — see AI credits and top-ups.

  1. Open an object and click AI assistant at the top (Switch to AI chat). A chat replaces the inspector on the right.
  2. Write what should change, e.g. Add two evenly spaced shelves, and click Send.
  3. The assistant shows what it is doing (Reading the object, Changing the model, Checking overlaps…), and the changes appear in the 3D view right away.

Stop interrupts the assistant. Switch to manual editor brings the inspector back. Clear conversation deletes the conversation and starts a new one.

When a material has to be chosen, the assistant offers a numbered list with pictures. Reply with the number, e.g. 2.

Create from image scaffolds an object from a photo of furniture:

  1. Drop a photo (JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB).
  2. Pick the Project for the new object.
  3. Click Analyze.
  4. In the chat below, give the outer dimensions and pick a material.

The object has to be saved in a project for you to chat with the assistant.

In the project 3D view the assistant arranges the room: places objects against walls, adds windows, radiators and lights, resizes objects. E.g. Place the cabinets against the left wall or Add a 1200 mm wide window on the back wall.

Each project has its own conversation.

The first time, the assistant asks How should the assistant work with you?:

  • A professional helps me — the assistant works like an experienced cabinetmaker: it picks the joints, places the holes, checks the object and writes a build plan.
  • I’m the professional — the assistant does exactly what you ask; joints, holes, checks and a plan only when you ask.
