DIY or workshop

When you sign up, you choose how you use Maysstor:

• DIY builder — furniture for yourself.
• Workshop — furniture for clients.

Note

The account type does not change your plan or limits. How many projects, objects and panels you may have depends only on the plan — see Plans and limits.

What a workshop gets

With the Workshop type the app also shows the tools for working with clients:

• Workshop details — company name, address, company ID / VAT number. Shown on specifications and quotes.
• Clients in the side menu — a list of clients for your projects.
• Quote in the specification and the Pricing tab of your account — material, labour and extra prices for quotes.
• Workshop in your account — team members and their roles (on the Workshop Plus plan). See Workshop members.

Some of these features also need a paid plan, e.g. Suppliers and Supplier quotes.

How to switch the account type

1. Open Account → Account details.
2. In the Account type card, choose DIY builder or Workshop.
3. When switching to a workshop, enter the workshop name and click Create workshop.

If you switch back to DIY builder, your workshop details are kept and come back when you choose Workshop again.
