Cut list

The cut list lays the panels out on sheets, for each material separately. Specification → Details → Cut list.

For each material set:

  • Cut method — Panel saw or CNC router,
  • Kerf — how much material the cut takes (mm),
  • Edge trim — how much is trimmed off the sheet edge before cutting (mm).

The layout is recalculated right away.

Below the settings is every sheet: Sheet 1/3, the panel layout and the yield. Grain is respected — a grain panel isn’t turned across the grain.

If a panel doesn’t fit the sheet (it is larger than the sheet), the cut list lists it separately.

If you have remnants, the cut list uses them before full sheets. A remnant sheet is labelled remnant W×H. When there aren’t enough remnants, full sheets are added and you get a warning.

  • CSV — a table for cutting software or your supplier,
  • DXF for CNC — one DXF per panel and machined face, in a ZIP; the machining is in the layer names.

See PDF and CSV export.

While the specification is locked, the cut settings can’t be changed. See Locking the specification.
