Panel codes
Every panel in the specification, cut list, drilling plan and on the labels has a code (ID):
| Code | Panels |
|---|---|
K01, K02 … |
Carcass panels |
PL01 … |
Shelves — horizontal extra panels |
PR01 … |
Dividers — upright extra panels |
G1.01 … |
Panels in groups (e.g. drawer 1, panel 01) |
Blocking spaces get no code.
How they are made
Section titled “How they are made”Codes follow the order of the panels in the object: carcass first, then extra panels, then groups. So they don’t change when you rename a panel or change its material.
Panels made by gluing get a suffix — e.g. K03/1 and K03/2 for the two boards of a doubled panel,
or K03/a for a build-up strip. See Gluing.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Prefixes, number of digits and numbering (per object or across the project) are set in Account → Configuration → Panel IDs. See Configuration.
The specification uses the project owner’s settings. When you lock the specification, the codes are frozen.
In the editor, codes are always per object, without the object prefix.
