What the assistant can do
The built-in assistant and external assistants (Claude, ChatGPT) use the same Maysstor tools, so they can do mostly the same things.
Object
Section titled “Object”- adds, changes and deletes panels and groups (shelves, dividers, drawers, doors),
- resizes the object,
- picks materials and edge bands — searches the material database and shows pictures,
- adds joints, holes and hardware,
- checks for overlaps and panels outside the object box,
- shows the specification and cut list, makes a PDF of the specification,
- makes a picture of the object,
- undoes and redoes its own steps.
Project
Section titled “Project”- arranges the room in the project 3D view: places objects against walls, draws walls, adds obstacles and lights,
- resizes one copy or all copies,
- moves the project through its stages: confirms the object review, changes quantities, locks and unlocks the specification, adds project notes.
Help with the app
Section titled “Help with the app”The assistant also reads these docs. Ask it e.g. How do I put an edge band on all edges? or How many objects can I have on the free plan? — it answers from the matching page and gives you the link.
Workshop rules
Section titled “Workshop rules”The assistant keeps to basic building rules on its own, e.g.:
- the panel thickness comes from the material,
- nothing sticks out of the object box,
- it works step by step: plan → change → check → summary.
You give it your own rules through the Note for the AI assistant on a material or hardware item — e.g. Only for fronts. See My materials.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”- The assistant works only on objects and projects you have access to.
- Everything it does is an ordinary change to your object — you can undo it, keep editing by hand, and the specification is calculated as always.
- Plan limits apply to the assistant too (e.g. the number of objects and panels).
- The assistant can make mistakes. Before locking the specification, check the object and confirm it yourself.
