Continue in Claude / ChatGPT

Continue in AI hands the object to your Claude, ChatGPT or another AI agent. The assistant edits it through the Maysstor connector (MCP), and you watch the changes live in the editor.

This doesn’t use AI credits — you use your own Claude or ChatGPT subscription.

You add the connector once; it stays connected afterwards.

Connector URL:

https://api.maysstor.app/api/mcp

The same URL is in the Continue in AI dialog (Connector URL → Copy).

  1. Open Claude → Settings → Connectors.
  2. Click Add custom connector, enter the name Maysstor and paste the URL. Leave the other fields empty.
  3. Click Connect. The Maysstor sign-in page opens — allow access.
  1. Open ChatGPT → Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Click Create, enter the name Maysstor, paste the URL and choose OAuth.
  3. Click Connect and allow Maysstor on the sign-in page.

It works with any agent that supports MCP (Claude Code, Cursor and similar). E.g. in Claude Code:

Terminal window
claude mcp add --transport http maysstor https://api.maysstor.app/api/mcp

The browser opens the Maysstor sign-in page — allow access.

  1. In the editor click Continue in AI.
  2. Under What should the AI do? optionally type the task, e.g. Add two shelves and make the doors 2 mm narrower.
  3. Click Open in Claude or Open in ChatGPT. For other agents: Copy prompt and paste it into the agent.
  4. A new chat opens with a short prompt and a one-time code. Send it.

The assistant starts a session, reads the object and makes the changes. The editor shows The AI assistant changed the object.

From there you chat as usual: ask for materials (you get a gallery with pictures), ask about overlaps, ask for a picture of the object or a PDF of the specification. The assistant also gives you a link to a 3D view of the object that works without signing in while the session lasts.

The same works from the project 3D view: Continue in AI hands over the project’s room, and the assistant places objects, walls and obstacles.

A catalog object is first copied into a project, and the assistant then edits that copy.

  • The link works once and is valid for a limited time (the dialog shows how long, e.g. 30 min). To try again, make a new link.
  • A session lasts a few hours at most (e.g. 3 h) and covers only that object or project.
  • The Continue in AI dialog lists open sessions (Active until …, Last used), and you can Revoke them.
  • Undo is separate: the assistant undoes its steps, and you undo yours.
  • Published catalog entries can’t be edited by an assistant, only private ones.

You see and disconnect connected AI apps under Account → Security — see Security.

Problem Fix
The assistant doesn’t use Maysstor The connector isn’t on in that chat (Claude: tools menu, ChatGPT: +)
Couldn’t reach the MCP server Check the connector URL
The sign-in page says the request expired Click Connect again in the assistant
The same prompt doesn’t work a second time The link works once — make a new one with Continue in AI
