Projects and stages
A project groups the objects for one client or one room — e.g. a kitchen or a wardrobe. How to make your first one: First project and first object.
Project list
Section titled “Project list”The Projects page (sidebar) lists every project with its client, number of objects and last change. Filter by name or client… narrows the list.
- Active — the projects you are working on.
- Archived — Archive hides a project from Home and search, but deletes nothing. Restore brings it back, Delete permanently deletes it for good.
Project page
Section titled “Project page”At the top are Client, Type, Status and Deadline. Edit Project changes the name, client, type, deadline and Description. Tabs:
- Objects — every object of the project; see Objects.
- Comments — client comments; see Sharing and comments.
- Production — production tracking; see Production.
Top right are Specification, Share and Open project in 3D.
The project Status is In progress, Awaiting client, Approved or Archived.
Project stages
Section titled “Project stages”A project goes through these steps:
- Design — you add objects and build them in the editor.
- Review — you mark every object as reviewed (see below).
- Placement — you place every copy in the room in the project 3D view.
- Specification — you check and lock the specification.
- Production — cutting, edge banding, drilling, assembly and packing.
Reviewing an object
Section titled “Reviewing an object”An object you haven’t confirmed yet shows Not reviewed. In the editor, in the status bar at the bottom, click Mark reviewed. The button is not available while a panel sticks out of the object box.
