Objects

An object is one piece of furniture — a cabinet, wardrobe or shelf unit. Every object of a project is in the Objects tab of the project page, with its dimensions, material, panel count and last change.

On the project page click Add object. The dialog has three tabs:

Tab What you get
Empty Only an outline of the given size (Width (mm), Height (mm), Depth (mm)), no panels
Template A finished object — System templates or your own (Mine); click Use
Catalog An object from the catalog; search with Search catalog…

Enter the Object name and click Add to project. The object opens in the 3D editor right away. Step by step: First project and first object.

An object added from a template or the catalog is your copy — you can change its dimensions, materials, edge bands and hardware, and the original stays the same.

In the object’s row, under Actions:

  • Open in 3D — opens the object in the editor (same as clicking the row).
  • Duplicate — makes a copy of the object in the same project.
  • Save to my catalog — saves the object as your private template. The object in the project is unchanged.
  • Publish — publishes the object to the public catalog; see Catalog.
  • Delete — deletes the object from the project.

An object that hasn’t been confirmed yet shows Not reviewed. You confirm it in the editor: status bar at the bottom → Mark reviewed. Every later change needs a new confirmation.

The button doesn’t work while a panel sticks out of the object box — fix that first. Open warnings (e.g. overlaps) don’t block the review, but the status bar shows them.

If you need several identical pieces (e.g. three identical base cabinets), you don’t make three objects — you raise the quantity. You change it in two places:

  • in the project 3D view — every copy you add to the canvas is one piece (Copies needed),
  • in the specification — with Increase quantity / Decrease quantity.

While the specification is locked, the quantity can’t be changed.

On the Free plan a project can have at most 5 objects and 40 panels in total. See Plans and limits.
